spring is here...new memories are made

we had a wonderful time in gatlinberg tn. troy and i bought a time share there in 2000 on our honeymoon and 11 years latter went back with our two amazing kids. mckenzie-grace got lots of ice cream and daddy and owen did lots of "dangerous adventures"! we went on a long hike to celebrate adoption day! we went fishing and what the kids caught...we ate!!!!! dixie land stampede and more! owen has started playing soccer and time is simply going by too fast!

Abe Lincoln

today was a special day for me! i continue to remain humbled and thankful that troy's provision allows us to attend providence. today owen perform in the presidential wax museum play. he was abe lincoln...said his lines like a dream and then led the national anthem...one of his best friends was laura bush!!! also, owen's youth pastor, isaiah came to support him!!!

the meletios came to celebrate fall with us! our church hosted a fun festival....we enjoyed mommy time while the kids played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we spent two days in port a with the mercer family making memories in the sand!

then the mcfarlanes came for a few days then off to pine cove!!!

Healing

Kerstin's journey began February 9th and my health and journey with Rex began April 17th!

Kerstin is recovering well, Rex is home with the Lord and my body is healing daily. In honor of Rex we took Owen and Mckenzie-Grace to the zoo to see the T-Rex exhibit...owen has also mastered the bike without training wheels..thanks to his daddy. Thank you spring, austin, dallas, baton rouge, bsf, providence, houston northwest baptist and people around the country and world who have loved, served and prayed for us!!!! we love you!
